Ein is the main female character from the anime Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- which was based on the game Phantom of Inferno. She’s generally quiet and has a reserved personality due to being trained to be an assassin from a young age. If you’ve watched the anime, you’ll also notice that she shows absolutely no emotion at all; I guess that’s just something you need to do to be the best assassin in the world.
Yay, my first figure post in over 3 weeks. Since my internship is over and I’m back in school, I no longer have a source of income. I’m also trying not to spend the money I already have because I’ll need it for my trip to Japan this summer. With that said, I probably won’t be getting many more figures between now and June except for the ones I’ve already preordered and perhaps a few irresistable ones like Tokido Saya. On the bright side though, I have 3 more figure reviews coming up after this one.
So I’m not really sure why I got the nendoroid school life playsets by Phat company. I guess it was because I have so many nendoroids and thought some of them might look better with some nendo-sized things around.
This nendoroid of Yoko from Gurren Lagann must be one of the best nendoroids ever. Not only does she come with her sniper rifle, she has so many extra parts that you can make almost any pose you want. Not to mention that the top and bottom half of her body are also separated so you can move her torso to the side a bit, which isn’t possible with other nendoroids. (more…)
Recently I received my Kaito nendoroid in the mail. Kaito is one of the less popular vocaloids, but personally I think his voice is better and more realistic than Miku’s. If you don’t believe me, just look up some songs on youtube. (more…)
Rin and Len Kagamine are the two latest additions to my figure collection. Pretty soon I’m going to have more nendoroids than regular figures.

A couple days ago I got my Sakura Nankyoku nendoroid in the mail. I had actually forgotten that I had ordered this figure since I placed the preorder for it last summer which was quite a while ago. Sakura Nankyoku a.k.a. Penguin or Pen-chan for short is from the anime Penguin Musume Heart (Penguin Girl Heart), a pretty good comedy to watch if you have time. (more…)
Several months ago, my Nendoroid L figure fell off its shelf and snapped its neck as shown above. I suspect Nendoroid Light shoved him off since they were beside each other >.>
Anyways, I was able to fix it back then using some super glue and applying it so that only the broken neck piece was glued. Any excess glue on the body or head would’ve been bad because then I wouldn’t be able to change his expression anymore. Recently though, I’m sad to say that L snapped his neck again, and it was by my own hands :( (more…)
