Nopy’s Big Figure Sale Part 1

As much as it pains me to do this, I am announcing that I am selling some of my figures. I am running out of space in my room (I literally have to step over things now), and until I can afford my own house, I have to either get rid of stuff and/or stop getting more stuff. I only had time to take pictures of some of the figures I’m planning to sell, so there will be a part 2 to this sale later.

Conditions of Nopy’s Big Figure Sale:

All figures are sold as-is and come in their original boxes. I have included pictures of each figure just before boxing them so you can see exactly what you will get.
Prices are in Canadian dollars.
Shipping is not included in the price and will vary depending on the destination and shipping method.
I will only accept payments through Paypal.
This is a first come first serve sale, so whoever sends me an email first stating they want a figure will get the chance to buy it first. Please note that I said email, do not leave a comment here saying you want to buy a figure (I need a way to contact you back and some people typo their emails in the comments).
If payment is not received within 4 days, the figure will go to the next person interested in the figure.
Once payment is received, I will ship out the figure within a week. I take no responsibility for lost or damaged figures once I drop it off at the post office.
Promise that you will take good care of the figure.

International small packet (includes $100 coverage): $18
USA small packet (includes $100 coverage): $13
Canada regular parcel: $10 to $18 (Price depends on size of box and distance from Edmonton.)
The above shipping prices are with Canada Post. Other shipping methods available upon request, but will cost more.

The prices I’ve set are based on the MSRP of the figure and how likely I’ll ever be able to get another one. So without further ado, here are the figures that are for sale. Additional images are available in the gallary at the end of the post.

Konomi Yuzuhara

Ok, here is the last figure from my figure splurge, Konomi Yuzuhara from To Heart 2. Konomi is now the cutest non-nendoroid figure that I own and poses in a pink swimsuit for everyone to admire :)

I never knew Konomi had such a big bottom, her swimsuit doesn’t even fit properly o.o

I couldn’t find any flaws with Konomi, and the only thing that I can think of that any To Heart fan wouldn’t want this figure, is that her hair looks a little like it’s all clumped together.

This Konomi figure comes with two accessories that you can put on to make her look even cuter ^.^

One of the things I noticed before I even took Konomi out of her box was that she was heavier than most figures. Well, when I opened the box, it wasn’t the figure itself that was heavy, but the base. Konomi comes with a pretty fancy base where one side is rough and sandy to represent the beach and the other side is a mirror. The mirror is actually what made the box feel heavy, and I think it’s a nice addition.

I thought the mirror side of the base looked nicer so I stuck with that side. Currently Konomi sits beside Tsukino, two girls in swimsuits is always better than one :)

Figure Splurge

This week I got all the figures that I ordered at the beginning of the month. As you can see, I bought 6 in total. I know that doesn’t sound like much to some people, but I’ve collected 9 figures in 1 year, so getting 6 in a couple weeks is a lot for me.

On the top left is a 1/7 scale Konomi Yuzuhara figure from To Heart 2. She’s produced by Kotobukiya and comes with a tube and sandals that you can put on. I haven’t actually seen To Heart 2, but I did see the original, and when I saw this figure, I just had to get it.

Beside Konomi on the right is a 1/8 scale Taiga Aisaka figure produced by Max Factory. She comes from the series Tora Dora which will be airing this fall and is definitely on my watch list.

On the bottom left is Louise Françoise de la Bamue le Blanc de la Vallière (it’s like they just picked random French words for her name) from the anime Zero no Tsukaima (a.k.a. The Familiar of Zero). This is the 1/8 scale Louise Bustier Version produced by Alter. It was actually sold out in a few online stores, so when I found one that still had them in stock it went straight into my shopping cart.

Beside Louise is a 1/8 scale figure of Meifeng Liu from Shuraki, produced by Good Smile Company. Now, I have no clue what Shuraki is, but I really liked this figure so I got it anyways. The box also says that it comes with a booklet and a drama cd, but unfortunately I don’t know Japanese so I won’t be able to understand anything in them :(

To the left of Meifeng is the School Rumble goddess Eri Sawachika. This 1/8 scale figure by Alter is the only one I have that’s laying down. She’s going to take up a bit more space than my other figures, but School Rumble is one of my favourite anime so I thought that it would be space well spent.

On the bottom right is the last figure, Tsukino Azusagawa from Yakitate Japan. This is another 1/8 scale figure from Alter and is actually one of my favourite. Yakitate Japan was a pretty good anime, but it had relatively little fanservice, so it’s not often that you got to see Tsukino showing off some skin.

Well, that’s it for my figure splurge. Altogether, including shipping & handling and customs, the total cost came out to be around $400. That works out to be around $67 per figure, which is a little expensive but hey, you don’t go splurge on stuff and expect to save money. For anyone reading this who was expecting to see more pics of these figures, I’ll be posting them as I find time in the following week (and they’ll be out of the box too).
