Its been a while since my last nendoroid post, but they’re still the fastest growing part of my figure collection, I just haven’t gotten around to writing about them. Originally released in January 2010, this Luka Megurine nendoroid was hard to come by since she was sold out in most places. I managed to get my hands on one a couple months ago, and I was really excited to be able to add another Vocaloid to my collection.
Ein is the main female character from the anime Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- which was based on the game Phantom of Inferno. She’s generally quiet and has a reserved personality due to being trained to be an assassin from a young age. If you’ve watched the anime, you’ll also notice that she shows absolutely no emotion at all; I guess that’s just something you need to do to be the best assassin in the world.
This is the last of the figures that I got in the 4 months that I was away: a nendoroid of Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai. I wasn’t expecting this figure to be particularly good, but I liked Kara no Kyoukai so I decided to get it anyways. You can see the shots that I took from the front, sides, and back.
I watched the first three episodes of Tears to Tiara and I can’t say that I liked it very much, but this nendoroid of Riannon was just too cute to pass up. As with most nendoroids, she’s manufactured by Good Smile Company, which is getting pretty good with their nendoroid designs.
Its been a while since I got Moka, but I finally got around to making a post about her. As you can tell from the title, this figure is of the awakened version of Moka Akashiya from Rosario to Vampire (which I’m currently watching).
I really liked the pose for this figure; you usually find figures that are standing up and doing something with their hands to make it less boring, but you rarely find one like this where the character is cool and sexy at the same time. The second thing I really liked was the dress, the detail is just amazing. Not to mention that it also helps with the cool and sexy look.
I finally got my Unity May figure last week from the HLJ anniversary sale, and she’s just as amazing as the official pictures make her out to be.
I’ve been meaning to post this for nearly a week, but I’ve been too busy to take shots of my new figures until now.
Recently I received my Kaito nendoroid in the mail. Kaito is one of the less popular vocaloids, but personally I think his voice is better and more realistic than Miku’s. If you don’t believe me, just look up some songs on youtube. (more…)
This Miku figure by GSC originally came out back in November, but it wasn’t released in North America until much later which is why it took so long for me to get it. I normally would have ordered it from Japan but all of the preorders were already full so I ended up ordering her from the States.
Rin and Len Kagamine are the two latest additions to my figure collection. Pretty soon I’m going to have more nendoroids than regular figures.
As many of you already know, Rin and Len are twins from the Vocaloid series, a program that you can use to create anime-like music. (more…)
