I had never seen any of the Da Capo series before , but after hearing about how good Da Capo I was, I thought that maybe I should give this franchise a shot. Since Da Capo III was airing last season, it was my first foray into the Da Capo universe… and I was sorely disappointed. I’ll just cut to the chase and say that the series was utter crap… so why did I keep watching to the end?
Today we have Megami Magazine Volume 154 (March 2013). The front cover features Miho from the series Girls and Panzer on a camouflage background. I actually quite like the cover this time, it’s bright, cheerful, and of a high quality. There’s a good selection of posters this time, which you can see below.
Volume 153 (February 2013) of Megami Magazine features To Love-ru on the cover. To be honest, I’ve never seen To Love-Ru and I thought the gray tones in the cover made it look dull so I didn’t really like it. Although this is the February edition of Megami, it came out in January, meaning that this one comes with the annual freebie calendar. First though, lets take a look at the posters included in this volume. Note that very ecchi content is not shown directly on this page, you will need to click on the links to see them.
With a new year comes a new season and a new batch of anime. After viewing all of the new anime this season, I have compiled all of my initial thoughts into this post. As with all of my round-ups, I take into consideration every new series and continuations of series that I have seen. Sequels of anime that I haven’t seen are excluded because I would just be completely lost.
It’s been a while since my last Megami Magazine post, so today I present to you volume 25, the October issue.
The January 2010 issue of Dengeki G’s magazine features Manaka from Love Plus on the cover. I’m sure most of you have probably heard of this wildly popular dating sim on the NDS which allows you to interact and deepen your bond between one of three girls in the game. Apparently it’s so good that a guy in Japan even went ahead and married one of the girls in the game (but not officially/legally). Personally, I’d prefer a real wife, but to each his own.
The cover of the December 2009 issue of Dengeki G’s Magazine features Kareha and Daisy from the game SHUFFLE Essence+, which I really hope will get translated into English in the future.
After much searching and some waiting, I was able to get a hold on a copy of Nyantype Magazine volume 1 (unfortunately, it’s a bit damaged from shipping). Since it is the first volume I guess a lot of people wanted it to see is it was any good, making it really hard for me to find. Much like Megami Magazine (it’s actually a near carbon copy), Nyantype has a number of pinup posters at the front and back of the magazine with info on anime, games, and figures in between. To start off, here are all the pinup posters included in the magazine:
After nearly a month of waiting, I finally got vol. 108 of Megami Magazine. This volume contains a lot of Clannad After Story and mostly posters of older series. Since I had some free time today I decided to scan the posters in to see how they turned out.
