Megami Magazine Vol. 161

megami161-001

On to the next speed-post, we have Megami Magazine Volume 161, issued back in October 2013. Some of you may be asking, “but Nopy, where’s volume 159 and 160?” Well, due to a little mix-up and me moving to Toronto, I didn’t realize that I hadn’t gotten 159 and 160 until a few months later. By that point, both volumes were already sold out so there’s nothing I can do about it now.

Back to volume 161 though, the cover features the two lolis of the Monogatari series: Mayoi and Shinobu. It’s a refreshing change from the usual sexy covers that Megami Magazine usually employs, and it’s a treat for Monogatari fans. As with the previous Megami post, this will be shorter in order to give me time to catch up with my backlog. Posters will have the titles of the anime they’re from underneath, followed with a brief overview of all of them at the very end.

Megami Magazine Vol. 158

This has been the longest break from Megami Magazine that Nopy’s Blog has ever taken, so to make up for it I will be making several Megami posts in the coming weeks. In order to do so and not kill myself though, these will be condensed. Rather than have commentary for each poster, I will just post the previews and have an overall summary at the end. Don’t worry though, I’ll still identify which series each poster comes from in case something interests you.

To start things off, we have Megami Magazine Volume 158, otherwise known as the July 2013 issue which was released last year. The cover features Girls und Panzer, which I’m sure some of you still remember.

While I hear that Girls und Panzer was a good series, I have yet to see it. At least I can enjoy the nice posters that come out for it. As with all of my Megami posts, any risqué images are not displayed directly on the page, but if you want to see them, just click on the links.

Megami Magazine Vol. 157

Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko is featured prominently on the cover of Megami Magazine volume 157 (June 2013). While Tsukiko looks cute in the anime, I think she looks cuter in Kantoku’s original illustrations of her, as shown here. There also happens to be a nendoroid petit in the same pose as on the cover. In order to get this nendoroid you will need to order a copy of Megami Magazine Goods+ August 2013. For those not familiar with the Goods+ line, it’s separate from the main Megami Magazine and rather than focusing on posters, it includes random goodies like figures. Keep in mind though that a Goods+ volume costs twice as much as a regular Megami Magazine. Those looking for other Henneko goodies might want to check out the goodies section after the posters below. As always, any super ecchi content is censored by the text links.

Megami Magazine Vol. 156

megami156-01

The 156th volume (May 2013) of Megami Magazine has a nice mix of posters from the winter and spring anime seasons. The front cover features the main girls from Girls and Panzer in their beach attire. Girls and Panzer seems to be the featured series in this volume with a related freebie and being placed on the large poster. More on that can be seen at the end of this post. To start things off, below you will find the pin-up posters included in this volume. As usual, any super ecchi ones are censored and can be viewed by clicking on the links.

Megami Magazine Vol. 155

megami155-01

Megami Magazine volume 155 (April 2013) came right at the end of the winter 2013 season so there are a number of posters for completed series, but there are a few for series that are still airing. The cover features Akane from Vividred Operation in her transformed state. Her smile and pose really help to showcase her cheerful side and brighten the magazine’s cover. Before getting into the posters, just remember that any super ecchi content isn’t shown directly on this page, you’ll have to click on the links to view them.
