Nopy’s Big Figure Sale Part 1

July 12, 2011 By: Nopy Category: Figures

As much as it pains me to do this, I am announcing that I am selling some of my figures. I am running out of space in my room (I literally have to step over things now), and until I can afford my own house, I have to either get rid of stuff and/or stop getting more stuff. I only had time to take pictures of some of the figures I’m planning to sell, so there will be a part 2 to this sale later.

Conditions of Nopy’s Big Figure Sale:

  • All figures are sold as-is and come in their original boxes. I have included pictures of each figure just before boxing them so you can see exactly what you will get.
  • Prices are in Canadian dollars.
  • Shipping is not included in the price and will vary depending on the destination and shipping method.
  • I will only accept payments through Paypal.
  • This is a first come first serve sale, so whoever sends me an email first stating they want a figure will get the chance to buy it first. Please note that I said email, do not leave a comment here saying you want to buy a figure (I need a way to contact you back and some people typo their emails in the comments).
  • If payment is not received within 4 days, the figure will go to the next person interested in the figure.
  • Once payment is received, I will ship out the figure within a week. I take no responsibility for lost or damaged figures once I drop it off at the post office.
  • Promise that you will take good care of the figure.

Shipping Costs

  • International small packet (includes $100 coverage): $18
  • USA small packet (includes $100 coverage): $13
  • Canada regular parcel: $10 to $18 (Price depends on size of box and distance from Edmonton.)
  • The above shipping prices are with Canada Post. Other shipping methods available upon request, but will cost more.

The prices I’ve set are based on the MSRP of the figure and how likely I’ll ever be able to get another one. So without further ado, here are the figures that are for sale. Additional images are available in the gallary at the end of the post.

  1. Those Rika/Hanyuu figures are super cute. I wish I could take them home. ;_;

  2. AsakuraSan says:

Hope all those Figures will get a nice new home soon :3
And wow I didn’t even know there exist canadian dollars, I suck :(

  3. Many cute figures ^^, I also want to sell my Unity May, but nobody wanted her so far :( But I was able to sell three figures of mine recently, I’ve lost interest in them and was in need for clearing shelf space as well ;)

This Sakura Nankyoku is really tempting, but I can’t afford her at the moment.
If she’s still availabe in september I might give it a second thought.

  4. “Notes: Louise’s head is detachable.”

    I feel bad for laughing at that. xD;

Hmmm, these are all super nice quality figures, but I don’t think I can afford any atm because I just bought a nendoroid recently. I’ll have to think about it.

  5. @Coal:
They are indeed, it’s a shame Wave didn’t release all of the other characters as well.

Welll, there are some people who think Canada and America should just use the same currency.

I didn’t think Unity May would be too hard to sell considering how nice the figure is. If Sakura’s still available in September, I’ll let you know.

Ah, nendoroids, the good thing about them is that they’re cute and don’t take up as much space as scaled figures.

  6. Seeing as my collection consists of roughly 45 Nendos and only 2 1/8 Scaled figrues I don’t really share your space problems, but I can still feel with you xD
I hope each of these figures will get a nice new home. I’m really looking for a good Louise, but as I don’t intend to get any beach figure…^^

Good Luck for your sale though! :D

  7. Key-Fan says:

Oh by the way, when I checked for the price in € I just got shocked :D since when is the canadian dollar above the u.s. dollar? (I always thought it was something about 1$ = 1.30 CAD)

  8. An acquaintance of mine was looking to purchase some new figurine’s for his collection, but not sure if he is looking for the one’s you have. I’ll give him nudge to this page and he will email you if he is interested in making a purchase.

  9. Kinda interested in Rika and Unity May, but I guess I’ve taken too many pre-orders for the following months ;(

  10. @Nopy
Yeah I also thought it would be easier to find a new home for her.
Oh that would be nice thank you ^_^

  11. “Promise that you will take good care of the figure.” – love this condition you set. You’ll need to know the figures are going to a good, new home =)

Just curious though, exactly how many figures do you have in your collection right now?

  12. Ah, it’s gotten to that point in your figure collecting life, eh? Dang, I’m getting to my limit too, but I’ve actually got storage space… sort of.

How are you able to ship stuff so cheaply?! Are you sure that’s correct? I’ve done figure shipping before, and you can’t do small packet, because packet are those envelope things. You can only do parcel, which comes up to around $40 in shipping at times.

  13. Mmm…love that Louise figurine, I’m one province to the west too, so shipping would be cheap…

  14. @Key-Fan:
Nendoroids are a lot easier to handle, which is why I’m keeping mine. The Canadian dollar has been jumping back and forth a lot in the past few years. From what I hear, it’s back to “normal” for people who grew up in the 70’s, but in the 90’s it was below 0.70 USD.

Thanks, the more potential buyers, the better :)

I fall into that problem too, I end up getting 3-5 packages arriving at the same time some days.

Right now I have 103 in my collection and 17 on preorder. I guess that gives you an idea of why I need to sell some of them.

Small packet actually includes boxes with total dimensions 90cm or less and under 2kg (1kg for U.S.). Sakura and Unity May are the biggest ones here, and they just barely fit under that description.

Wow, you’re from SK? I lived there for a few months but I could find any sort of anime gathering or anime stores :(

  15. These are some really cute figures; I would buy some of them, but I’m running out of space myself too. :(

Good luck with the sale. ^ ^

  16. @Yi:
Space and money seem to be a big problem for a lot of people. Sometimes I wish I had one of those bags you see in anime that can fit everything inside.
