Finally, A Break!
The last few weeks have been just day after day of endless work and it really shows when you consider how cluttered my desk is. I like to keep things nice and tidy so it’s very rare that my desk ever ends up like what’s shown above.
Somehow I managed to get a temporary position at a research lab, own the GRE, write several exams, attend all of my classes, and clock in a lot of overtime hours at work all at the same time without collapsing from exhaustion. Needless to say, I had to sacrifice sleep, anime, tv, games, and even opening some packages. Thankfully, things are starting to calm down now and the only thing I really need to worry about for the next few weeks are grad school applications.
You might notice a few new acquisitions in the picture above, if there’s anything you guys want to see a post on, just mention it in the comments. A free e-cookie to whoever can guess the number of figures visible (including “pets”). Anyone who can name all of them gets an e-cake ^.^
Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to catch up on some anime.
I know it’s easy to say, but don’t overwork your self too much ;)
So this is your desk, I’ve spotted the Amano Tooko nendoroid, she’s really nice when she is sitting on her chair :) and the box in the front on the left also catched my interest, what is it?

3perhaps i should study for GRE =\.. ah my life is in a limbo atm.. i dont know what i want to do after graduating or where @_@.
itll be a good couple of month or half a year to get to ur level of figures haha.

Man I’m totally snowed under with work at the moment as well – my desk looks about the same as your right now. What’s really annoying is we got a deadline extension, that means I’ve got another week of this crazy schedule making sure I’ve got everything done. Two more weeks and I should be clear :lol:.
Temp work in a lab sounds cool. Will you have a project to carry out while you’re there?

There always seems to be a mountain of work around this time of year. I hope you can get it all done.
I’ll be working on a project with another student, nothing on my own for now. Those are 5.1 SS speakers. I’d like to have 7.1, but I wouldn’t have any place to put all of them.
