Aniblog Tourney Voting Begins
In case you haven’t already heard, voting for the first ever Aniblog Tourney begins today. The tourney pits 96 anime blogs against each other and lets blog readers vote for their favourite blogs in one-on-one matches.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like yours truly made it onto the list of 96, but you should still check it out. There’s a lot of interesting blogs there and I’m sure any anime fan/otaku will find at least one that they like.

1well nothing improtant comes from it..in my opinion, just which blog is better,. but i can debate about it, since i think every blog has its own personal touch that attracts specific viewers =)

That’s true, you can’t really say one blog is better than another since they all have their own personal qualities.

I’m relieved that I didn’t make it in there. I don’t really consider my blog an ani-blog anyways, and the last thing I want to do is compete. I pretty much agree with Fabrice. Will probably check it out to see if there’s a blog or two I’m missing out on though ^^

8Competing might not be nice, but I’m sure a lot of the blogs in the tourney have gotten new readers just from being in it.
Yeah, the new readers part is why I haven’t turned tail and ran. Anything to have people read my musings (well, not ANYTHING). I mean, otherwise there’s not much merit to someone of my caliber being there; even with the bye system, it only means that in the off-chance that all my opponent’s voters mysteriously disappear and my one vote for myself wins me the first round, there will be a veritable titan waiting outside the cave of trials to smash me to a pulp. Still, the competition’s in good spirit.
I’m pretty much just consoling my fears on every blog I can find now.

10That’s true, there are a lot of big-name anime blogs on there. I wouldn’t want to go up against them either.
Let’s just hope it doesn’t wind up like the OEG, which just stopped halfway….
Really pointless , it judges by viewcount and not really by content ._.
