Some of you may recall that I bought two boxes of the Toy’s Works Toradora figures a few months back. That was to ensure that I got the complete set since a single box isn’t guaranteed to have all of the figures. Well, it turns out that both boxes had the complete set so now one of them is just lying around.
With that said, rather than throwing out the extra figures, I’ve decided to give them away by holding a contest. The details of the contest are below:
The November 2009 edition of Dengeki G’s magazine is my favourite so far, mainly because of this cute little alarm clock that comes with it. This edition also features a couple games from my favourite game company, Key, and other popular games like SHUFFLE Essence+.
This is the last of the figures that I got in the 4 months that I was away: a nendoroid of Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai. I wasn’t expecting this figure to be particularly good, but I liked Kara no Kyoukai so I decided to get it anyways. You can see the shots that I took from the front, sides, and back.
Featured on the cover of volume 114 of Megami Magazine are To Aru Kagaku no Railgun characters biribiri and my favourite, Kuroko. I quite liked the variety of pin-up posters that were included this time around. As usually, I have pics of them below:
Some of you may remember a certain Youtube girl by the name of Magibon which swept otaku communities by storm with her big eyes and love of Japan two years ago. Sadly, her less than attractive looks in real life were revealed on Japanese tv sometime later and her time in the limelight was up. The shock from seeing Magibon’s true form may have stopped some people from watching Youtube girls, but apparently not for long.
With Magibon out of the picture, otaku needed a new white girl to idolize; that’s where Beckii Cruel comes in. Beckii is a teen from the UK who also loves Japan, but instead of uploading videos of her looking into the camera, she came to fame by dancing. You can see her Youtube videos here if you’re interested. Being relatively cute and liked by otaku from all over the interwebs, it was only a matter of time before she made her way to Japan like Magibon did. Beckii has even managed to ink a deal to have a DVD made (titled “This is Beckii Cruel”), and I got some screenshots below.
