Moving Out (Temporarily)
Some of you may have noticed a lack of posts on my blog recently. The main reasons for my inactivity are because of job interviews and looking for a place to rent. Two weeks ago I had several job interviews lined up and I managed to land a position (yay!). Although I’m still in university, I need to have 20 months (5 terms) of work experience to get my degree, and I just have 4 more months (1 term) left. The thing about this job though is that it’s about 780km away in a city of about 200k people. So for the past week I’ve been phoning up apartment complexes trying to find a vacant suite (with little luck).
Hopefully I’ll be able to get an apartment, or else I’ll have to resort to renting out a room or basement in someone’s house. In that case I probably shouldn’t make my anime interests too well known until I get to know my landlords better. Most of the city seems like the traditional conservative christian type, so a guy that watches “cartoons” and collects “dolls” might not sit too well with some people. I have however, decided to bring along 1 figure when I leave. My problem is that I can’t decide which figure to take with me. The following are all of the figures that I currently own:
Figures:
Aisaka Taiga – Max Factory
Akashiya Moka – Gift / Good Smile Company
Asahina Mikuru – Max Factory
Asakura Ryoko – Max Factory

Misa Amane – Good Smile Company
Nankyoku Sakura – Good Smile Company
Ritona Yoko – Good Smile Company
Shana – Good Smile Company
Yagami Light – Good Smile Company
If you want to see pictures, MyFigureCollection has all of them. I’m thinking I probably shouldn’t take any of my swimsuit figures or anything that’s too revealing. Right now my top 2 choices are Aisaka Taiga, and Nankyoku Sakura from GSC. If you think I should take a different one, feel free to post a comment.
It’ll be sad to know that I won’t be able to see my figures, play my video games, or read my manga for 4 months. Hopefully I’ll have a decent internet connection so I can still watch anime and make some posts here. On the bright side, I will be home by Christmas and there’ll be 4 months of pre-ordered figures and magazine subscriptions waiting for me ^.^
