CANAAN ep 1
CANAAN looks like it’s going to be one of the better (if not the best) anime out this season. It’s got lots of action, nice animation, lots of potential for a good story, and not too much fanservice.
It’s kinda hard to tell what the story is about from the first episode, but it looks like Canaan (the girl with the sniper rifle above) has been sent to a city to take out some henchmen from some sort of organization. The episode also follows a reporter looking to find the next big scoop and his camerawoman, who seems a bit clueless at times. At one point she was taking pictures of a dead guy on the ground before she realized he was dead.
The reporter seems to be a bit more aware since he actually notices when someone next to him gets shot dead (unlike the rest of the crowd which seems to just ignore everything).

Hmmm looking good… I’ll wait a bit to see this anime, maybe a few episodes more…

Personally, I prefer more plot development than fanservice :)
